[job_card.job_description]Clinical Coverage : Perform endoscopic procedures, including but not limited to colonoscopies and upper endoscopies. Call Coverage : Patient Care : Round on unassigned patients as needed. Board Certification : Must be Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Gastroenterology. Fellowship : Completion of a Gastroenterology fellowship is required. Licensing : Must hold an active medical license in the state of Pennsylvania. Certifications Required : Basic Life Support (BLS) Hospital Privileges : Required, with an estimated credentialing timeframe of 45-60 days. Temporary Privileges : Not available. Consultation Role : The Gastroenterologist will consult on both inpatient and outpatient cases, providing specialized care in gastrointestinal diseases. Holidays : Coverage may be required during major holidays, including New Year's Day, 4th of July, Memorial Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day. Practice Support : The position will be supported by a full team of healthcare professionals, ensuring a collaborative and efficient working environment.
