APEX is seeking a Senior Engineer to be based in Pleasant Hill or Truckee, CA.

Our Pleasant Hill Practice is home to a multidisciplinary team of project managers, scientists, geologists, and engineers who collaborate on a wide variety of project types and environmental contaminants. We foster professional growth by offering opportunities to mentor others and learn from some of the industry's brightest professionals. Your Responsibilities as a Senior Engineer :

• Serve as senior technical lead on cumulative project total of $2M to $3M annually.
• Contribute to successful business development of new clients and projects at greater than $500K annually.
• Write and review technical reports and proposals.
• Assist with project management activities.
• Ability to grow an existing bustling practice in one of the following areas : brownfields redevelopment, groundwater / soil characterization and remediation, landfill engineering, or water resources;
• Augment a busy established, successful practice
• Identifying and developing successful client relationships and new business development opportunities with public and private clients on local, regional or national basis; business development of $400,000 annual revenue
• Mentor and train scientific staff and ensure quality work product.
• Actively develop your own career growth.
