Summary

The MIL Corporation seeks a Systems Administrator (Systems Administration, Senior Analyst) to support a Federal Government client in Patuxent River, MD. This is aSystems Administrator role that will manage Microsoft Windows based computer systems in support of the PMA-271 program.

This position currently requires an on-site schedule, with 5 days on-site and is eligible for Compressed Work Schedule (CWS). Schedule is subject to change based on company / contract requirements.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, administer,supportandmaintainMicrosoft Windows and Linux operatingsystems
• Administer and support VMware server / clusterenvironment
• Implement Risk Management Framework (RMF)methodologyon assignedsystems
• Maintain and update operating system securitypatches
• Maintain the system configuration standard using DoD based Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG)
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues, coordinate resolution with internal technical resources and externalvendors
• Document maintenance,repairs,and test activities; as well as include documentation updates as an integral part of everyproject
• Follow change control procedures during new implementations and changes to existingsystems
• Create andmaintainsystem documentation, diagrams, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Research and implement automated processes to improve operationalefficiency
• Analyze andmonitorthecapacityand performance of systems and software applications and make recommendations for improvements asnecessary
• Perform other duties and projects asassigned

Travel

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience / combined education and / or advanced certification;aMaster'sdegree will be considered in lieu of 2 years of professionalexperience

For this position, the projected compensation range is $115,000 - $155,000 per year. This estimate represents the typical salary range and is just one part of MIL's complete compensation package.
