Vice President of Communications
at Foundever is a critical leadership role responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive internal and external communication strategies that support the mission and strategic goals of the organization. This pivotal role will direct the communications functions of Foundever, including public relations, media relations, crisis communications, social media, website content, and internal communications.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the development and implementation of a communications strategy designed to further organizational goals.
Oversee and manage the organization’s external and internal communications channels.
Work closely with other executives to craft messaging and communications that accurately represent Foundever vision and values.
Coordinate public relations efforts that promote a positive image of the organization.
Direct crisis communications, planning, and response.
Manage a communications team and provide guidance, training, and mentorship to ensure effective, consistent messaging.
Qualifications
A minimum of 10 years of communications, public relations, or related experience with a strong emphasis on communications in the digital era.
Prior experience in a leadership role within a complex organization.
An intimate understanding of digital marketing and social media development strategies.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Strong leadership abilities, with the capacity to drive and manage a team effectively.
A bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, public relations, or a related field. An advanced degree, such as an MBA, is a strong plus.
