Unit Overview : Our 24-bed Neurosurgical Unit is dedicated to a diverse patient population, including :

• Post-operative care for craniotomies, spine surgeries, and more
• Patients recovering from hemorrhagic and ischemic strokes

What You'll Do :

• Deliver and coordinate evidence-based patient care
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal outcomes
• Assess patient needs and implement individualized care plans

Major Responsibilities :

• Utilize nursing processes to assess and implement care strategies
• Recognize and respond to changes in patient conditions promptly
• Facilitate a positive discharge plan using an interdisciplinary approach
• Promote safety measures and report any risks to patient welfare
• Engage in quality improvement initiatives and professional development

Qualifications :

• Valid Registered Nurse license and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Completion of an accredited Nursing program
• At least 1 year of clinical nursing experience preferred
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively

Physical Requirements : Must be able to lift, stand, and interact with patients frequently, while adhering to safety and health standards in a hospital setting.
