Mainframe Programmer

A company is looking for a Mainframe Assembler / Programmer.

Key Responsibilities

Analyze, define, and document technical design for data, workflow, and systems integration

Design, code, and maintain new and existing application solutions

Troubleshoot and resolve application problems, conducting testing and debugging as needed

Required Qualifications

Minimum 10 years of experience with COBOL, DB2, Command-Level CICS, JCL, Batch, and TSO / ISPF

Extensive experience in Assembler, CICS, and COBOL

Familiarity with SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle)

Experience in an Agile environment is preferred

Knowledge of FIS systems and the financial services industry is a plus
