National Institute of Governmental Purchasing (NGIP) certification preferred. Must submit to and pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.

Job Duties :
- Responsible for maintaining and documenting all public purchasing contracts and related files; works with vendors and departments to resolve performance problems and / or complaints during contract administration.
- Tracks and maintains the County's Master Contract List, Term and Supply List, vendor lists and answer Freedom of Information Act and Sunshine Law requests; administration of contracts and bids, draft various correspondence, maintain purchasing files, etc.
- Actively seeks new sources of vendors for the competitive bidding process, including the search and recruitment of minority, women-owned, and small businesses.
