Commercial Cooking and Refrigeration Service Technician

Locations: Greater Los Angeles CA

Pay Range: $25.00-$40.00 Full-Time

Overview

3Wire is looking for experienced and professional Commercial Refrigeration Service Technicians for our Commercial Kitchen Equipment Service locations. Our company repairs equipment in restaurants, hotels, and institutions covering all of California and Washington. We also provide preventative maintenance, installations, and training programs. To be part of the 3Wire Commercial Kitchen Equipment Team we would like you to have experience in:

• Customer service with a smile
• Service on Commercial Kitchen equipment, refrigeration
• Executing repairs
• Performing preventative maintenance

Essential Responsibilities

• Properly troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair commercial refrigeration, cooking communicate with dispatch upon arrival/departure from assignment
• Effective communication skills with internal and external customers of various levels and job function (dispatchers, parts agent, customers, General Managers, suppliers)
• Must be available for overtime calls and weekend service schedules
• Maintain company vehicles, to include cleanliness and maintenance of van, organizing and monitoring inventory
• Responsible for return of parts to warranty department

Qualifications

• Previous experience, refrigeration, cooking, or HVAC equipment service (or related military) experience
• Strong electrical, electronic, and mechanical skills
• Extremely strong customer communication skills
• 100% dedication to working hard, being on time, and staying organized
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Completion of a satisfactory background check and drug screen is required.
• Valid Driver's license and driving record that aligns with our safety standard.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with, Walk-ins, coolers, freezers, ice machines, prep tables, Fryers, Ovens, Steamers, Ranges, Broilers, Ware Wash, etc.
• CFESA certification and related Training
• EPA Universal Certification,
• Computer literate
