Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities

As a Tax Consultant at H&R Block, you will benefit from expert training and a supportive team environment. You will enjoy flexibility in your schedule while gaining valuable experience.

Conduct engaging tax interviews with clients through various platforms including face-to-face, video, phone, chat, and email.

Prepare thorough and accurate tax returns to ensure compliance and satisfaction.

Contribute to business growth by increasing client retention and promoting additional services.

Provide exceptional support to clients dealing with IRS inquiries.

Foster teamwork and collaboration to achieve office objectives.

Enhance your tax knowledge and expertise continuously.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field.

Experience in customer service or retail environments.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, supportive work atmosphere.

Availability to work 25-35 hours weekly during tax season, with the potential for up to 40 hours during peak periods.

Your Contributions

Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment or Income Tax Course.

Experience in a fast-paced work setting.

Comfortable utilizing virtual communication tools for client interactions.

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Must comply with all IRS and applicable state requirements.

A high school diploma or equivalent.
