Malvern Behavioral Health is currently seeking Full-time Registered Nurses to work at our upcoming BRAND NEW Malvern Behavioral Health facility located at 3905 W. Ford Road Philadelphia, PA 19131. The Registered Nurse position is a full-time day shift position working 7 : 00am - 7 : 30pm. These positions have an every other weekend commitment. The Registered Nurse provides direct patient care as prescribed by the physician and treatment team. Provide medical management and assessment of patients. Ensure environmental safety and crisis management for the patient population. Direct the implementation of behavior management programs and ensure consistent carry-through. Make patient & task assignments to subordinates & monitor their performance of duties. Provide training & education to staff, patients, families, & others. Document patient care, ensure that data is accurate, & that it is included in the master treatment plan via timely nursing care plan updates. Work with the treatment team to provide a consistently therapeutic milieu. Work with referral sources and ensure timely review of pending referrals which includes review of clinical information with physicians for appropriateness for our programs. When indicated, working with insurance companies to complete pre-certifications for clients.

To perform the Nurse role all applicants must be a Registered Nurse in the commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Clinical experience in the treatment of addiction and mental health experience is preferred. Current CPR certification. Knowledge of Bureau of Drug and Alcohol Program and Commission of Accreditation for Rehabilitation standards.
Previous nursing experience is preferred but not required.
