Deficiency Estimator

As a Deficiency Estimator, you'll play a key role in supporting sales and service operations by preparing timely, accurate, and strategic estimates for fire and life safety deficiencies identified during inspections. You'll work closely with field technicians and branch leadership to ensure customers receive fast, professional proposals to bring their systems into compliance and keep them protected.

What You Will Be Doing

• Review inspection reports, technician notes, and system documentation to identify deficiencies and scope of required repairs.
• Prepare estimates and proposals for repair work across fire alarm, sprinkler, suppression, security, and other life safety systems.
• Coordinate with field technicians and branch leadership to clarify scope, confirm parts and labor requirements, and ensure accuracy.
• Enter and manage estimates in our CRM and workflow platforms to ensure real-time visibility and tracking.
• Support follow-up activity on open proposals to maximize conversion and backlog.
• Stay up to date on NFPA codes, local AHJ requirements, and manufacturer specs related to fire protection system components.
• Assist with standardizing pricing templates, improving process efficiencies, and sharing best practices across branches.
• Communicate with internal stakeholders and, when necessary, directly with customers to explain scope and urgency.
