Job Description
Prepare, review, and issue client invoices accurately and on scheduleEnsure all billing practices adhere to internal policies and industry guidelinesSubmit electronic bills with proper documentation and proactively follow up as neededMonitor unbilled time and expenses; propose solutions for resolving aged itemsRespond promptly to attorney and staff inquiries regarding billing, accruals, and reportsAssist with time entry corrections, transfers, and reconciliationsCollaborate with the billing and collections teams while maintaining a strong client-service mindsetMPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law. The Successful Applicant
Minimum of 2 years of billing experience in a law firm or professional services environmentFamiliarity with billing platforms such as 3E, Elite, or Aderant is a plusStrong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and organizational skillsExcellent written and verbal communication; client-service focusedAbility to manage deadlines and work independently in a fast-paced environmentWhat's on Offer
