About the Position

A thriving hospital in Cartersville, Georgia —just 45 minutes from Atlanta—is seeking a Board Certified / Board Eligible Neonatologist to join a newly established Level II NICU . This is a full-time, permanent position offering competitive pay, a sign-on bonus , relocation support, and a comprehensive benefits package.

12-bed Level II NICU with collaborative, supportive environment

Split responsibilities between NICU and well-baby nursery

Daytime rounding + home call (no in-house nights!)

Epic EMR system for smooth documentation and coordination

🩺 Key Responsibilities :

Provide neonatal care in the NICU and well-baby nursery

Attend high-risk deliveries and C-sections

Perform newborn resuscitation and stabilization

Collaborate with skilled nursing and allied health teams

Participate in quality improvement initiatives

✅ Candidate Requirements :

Board Certified / Eligible in Neonatology (within 5 years of residency)

Fellowship in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine (completed prior to start)

GA medical license (or ability to obtain)

Prior experience in a Level II NICU preferred

Strong commitment to patient-centered care
