Job Description
The Business Operations team is seeking a highly skilled contractor to lead the definition and adoption of new Product Development Lifecycle (PDLC) systems and tooling across Consumer Group teams. This is a hands-on opportunity to define processes, implement tooling standards, and drive change management that will govern the future of the organization's PDLC operations.
Reporting to the Group Manager of Business Operations, you'll partner directly with the System & Tooling Lead to ensure efficient, standardized, and scalable engagement with the PDLC team. You'll collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders including Engineering, Product Management, Customer Success, and Marketing to ensure new PDLC frameworks meet business needs and achieve high adoption rates.
This role is ideal for someone passionate about operational excellence, process standardization, and driving organizational change through effective tooling and communication strategies. You'll translate complex program goals into clear, repeatable operational models while building consensus across senior stakeholders in a matrixed environment.
Duties and Responsibilities :
Process Design & Documentation
- Define, document, and standardize scalable operating procedures and governance frameworks for program planning, tracking, and execution
- Translate complex, ambiguous program goals into clear, actionable, and repeatable operational models and flowcharts
Operational Tooling Implementation & Governance
Partner with the System & Tooling Lead to establish and govern target-state tooling and process standards for all PDLC workstreamsDevelop and enforce data standards, workflows, and reporting to ensure consistent data quality and metrics across all initiativesCross-Functional Stakeholder Engagement
Liaise with core cross-functional stakeholders to capture requirements and key data management inputsFacilitate planning and alignment sessions to gather feedback on new PDLC tooling and processesBuild consensus and partner effectively with senior stakeholders across multiple functionsChange Management & Adoption
Develop and execute change management plans, training materials, and communications strategiesDrive high adoption and utilization of new operational processes and tools across program teamsDocument and drive adoption of AI use cases within PDLC processesCore PDLC Support Areas
Support Roadmap & Dependency Management implementationFacilitate Jira Cloud migration activitiesAssist with PET Resource Management tooling and processesRequired Experience / Skills
8+ years of experience in Business Operations, Program Management, or Management ConsultingProven track record defining and implementing operational processes and tooling in large enterprise environmentsDemonstrated ability driving large enterprise programs and translating strategic goals into standardized, measurable operational frameworksStrong execution focusability to drive implementation and translation of central strategies rather than creating frameworks from scratch
Familiarity with Product Development Lifecycle (PDLC) processes and tooling (Jira, roadmaps, dependency management, resource management)Solid understanding of project management tool migrations and governanceExperience working effectively in matrixed organization structuresExceptional ability to build consensus and influence senior, cross-functional stakeholdersExperience in change management fundamentals (training delivery, documentation, stakeholder engagement)Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detailExcellent written and verbal communication skillsNice-to-Haves
