UCHealth Medical Group and the  UCHealth Surgical ICU team, located in Colorado Springs, CO , are ready to welcome a  Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner  to their team. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, interested in working PRN, and focused on excellent patient care. • Works with the Surgical ICU team as well as the Trauma Acute Care Surgery team and participates in multi-disciplinary inpatient rounding on the unit.
• This is a PRN position.
• Supports a work-life balance.
• We are a service with full day, weekend, and holiday shift coverage required.
• No call required.
• This is a collaborative and cohesive group that includes 18 Surgeons, and 9 APPs who thrive on providing the best Surgical Critical Care in the region. Works closely with the TACS team of the same surgeons and 17 additional APPs.
• Epic EMR is utilized system-wide.
• One year of Trauma & Acute Care Surgery experience and one year of Critical Care experience as either a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner preferred.
