As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within an educational location. Your presence helps to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service and clear communication to all individuals on site. What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service to clients, students, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the campus and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and to observe and report any unusual conditions or occurrences.

+ Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to help to deter unauthorized access and assist individuals as needed.

+ Communicate clearly and promptly with Allied Universal management and/or campus personnel regarding incidents, hazards, or security-related concerns.

+ Complete detailed and accurate written reports documenting incidents, observations, and activities during each shift.

+ Assist with access control and visitor management, following site-specific procedures to help to deter unauthorized entry.

+ Support emergency response efforts by following established protocols and assisting first responders as directed.

Minimum Requirements:

+ Be at least 21 years of age.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
