[job_card.job_description]Provide customer service to clients, students, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the campus and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and to observe and report any unusual conditions or occurrences. Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to help to deter unauthorized access and assist individuals as needed. Communicate clearly and promptly with Allied Universal management and / or campus personnel regarding incidents, hazards, or security-related concerns. Complete detailed and accurate written reports documenting incidents, observations, and activities during each shift. Assist with access control and visitor management, following site-specific procedures to help to deter unauthorized entry. Support emergency response efforts by following established protocols and assisting first responders as directed. Be at least 21 years of age. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within an educational location. Your presence helps to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service and clear communication to all individuals on site.
