Job Description

• Preparing and cleaning media for conversion.
• Working hands‑on with technology to process conversion, troubleshoot and perform minor repairs (e.g. splicing, combining film reels).
• Film – working with film projectors to convert film into digital media, test/troubleshoot reel functionality, and monitor success of the conversion process to ensure quality transfer.
• Photo – scanning photos, prints and slides into digital format using flatbed scanners (Kodak, Epson).
• Video – working with VHS/Cassette/DVD players to properly process digitization, troubleshooting errors by splicing, combining reels/tape, and ensuring quality transfer.
• Responsible for converting home film reels/videos and photos to digital formats using customized in‑house hardware and software.
• Managing workflow for assigned workstations for conversion of home movie film reels.
• Analyzing notes in the database for specific orders and determining the appropriate workflow.
• Auditing every order to confirm completion and accurate grouping.
• Ensuring data integrity and customer privacy.
• Keeping the work area organized and clean.
• Performing additional duties as assigned.

Position Details

• Full‑time position: 40 hours per week.
• Training depends on the shift accepted at time of offer; typically a permanent schedule.
• Starting pay $17 per hour with eligibility for raises at the end of each quarter or 90 days.
• One weekend day per week is required.
• Overtime as required based on management discretion.
• On‑site location: North Scottsdale, 101 Via De Ventura.
• All positions are on‑site.

Qualifications

• Adequate knowledge and experience with computer systems.
• Experience using Google Chrome, Gmail, and OpenOffice (preferred).
• Ability to stand or walk for up to 8 hours.
• Ability to lift 40 lbs without physical restrictions.
• Physical capability to bend, stoop, lift, climb, and pull consistently.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced work environment.
• Demonstrated sense of urgency and eagerness to work in a fast‑paced setting.
• Clear and polite written and oral communication.
• Accurate following of verbal and written instructions.
• Detail oriented.

• Reliable transportation.

Education

• High school diploma or GED required.
