General Maintenance Worker

The pay rate : $24.26 / hour plus an additional $4.93 / hour for Health and Welfare

Schedule : 6 : 00 am - 2 : 30 pm / Monday - Friday w / occasional weekends and after-hours

Job Summary

The General Maintenance Worker performs general maintenance and repair of equipment and buildings requiring practical skill and knowledge (but not proficiency) in such trades as drywall, painting, masonry and carpentry.

Primary Duties

• Responsible for supporting duties as assigned for Facility Maintenance, Grounds, Inventory / Warehouse, Loading Dock Freight and Material Handling.
• Responsible for performing basic rough and finish carpentry work and prepares various surfaces for paint, enamel, lacquer, varnish, or stain or repairs wall coverings . Assist with repair on doors, locks, hinges, ceiling tiles and other facility maintenance.
• Responsible for responding in a timely manner to scheduled / unscheduled tenant requests for a variety of maintenance issues.
• Assists as an overall Site Maintenance support specialist while performing duties as assigned.
