DOT Inspection Certified and Air Brake Certified (additional schooling and certifications preferred) Must be able to provide sufficient tool inventory to perform job duties Must have a clean DMV report : No moving violations Valid State Driver's License Experience interacting directly with customers with high levels of customer service and communication skills High attendance and punctuality requirement Flexible working on all Makes, Models, and types of repairs Must have neat, legible handwriting standing, bending, lifting (50+ lbs.), and sitting for long periods of time in varied temperatures and weather conditions Must be flexible with your duties, which will include repairs, oil changes, parts runs, shop / truck clean up Welding experience Class A or B license 401(k) Profit Sharing Dental insurance Employee assistance program Health insurance- Employer Pays 70% + for Individuals and Families HSA- Employer Contribution $600-$1000 FSA HRA- Employer Contribution : $2000.00- $4,000.00 for Individuals and Families Life insurance- Employer Sponsored $20,000 for each Employee. Mobile Diesel Technician Richmond, VA
JOB DESCRIPTION :
Travel to client sites and provide maintenance, repair, and diagnostic services for gas and diesel vehicles and equipment to include but are not limited to engine services, brake service, engine diagnosis, inspections, cooling system service, etc. Most common service calls include scheduled services and repairs, breakdown response, DOT inspections, PM services. Opportunity for growth!!!
JOB DUTIES :
- Receive direction and customer schedule from Manager.
- Perform instructed and scheduled repair, maintenance, and services as needed on various vehicles and equipment as instructed by the Manager.
- Communicate with customers in a professional manner on job status and schedule status.
- Communicate regularly with Manager on job status and schedule status.
- Maintain service truck in a professional manner.
- Stock and maintain service truck inventory, tool collection, and all necessary paperwork daily.
- Adhere to all traffic laws.
