Contract Length : 13 weeks

Shift : Night, 3x12-Hour Shifts (19 : 00 - 07 : 30)

Hours per Week : 36 (option for 48 hours available)

Estimated Weekly Salary : $1800 - $1840

Patient Ratio : 1 : 5

Unit : Emergency Department (Level I Trauma Center)

Guaranteed Hours : Contracted hours per week; facility may call off up to 3 times during the assignment

Parking : No fee

Scrub Color : Black (not provided)

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active NM Registered Nurse license (can be pending at time of submission)

Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room RN experience (1.5 years considered for exceptional candidates)

Level I or Level II Trauma nursing experience required (Level I preferred)

Required certifications : ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC (must have TNCC prior to start), NIHSS (can be pending until compliance deadline)

Travel nursing experience strongly preferred

Ability to float to Adult PCUs and ED Holding as needed

No local candidates within 75 miles

COVID-19 and Flu vaccination required (medical / religious exemptions accepted with documentation)

Experience with Cerner charting system preferred

Personal transportation required

ER Nurse Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality, compassionate patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department

Administer medications, including IV medications, following safety protocols

Document and communicate clinical findings accurately

Perform triage, trauma / resuscitation, and emergency interventions

Care for patients with trauma, neuro-trauma, ortho trauma, CVA, STEMI, and other acute diagnoses

Float to Adult PCUs, ED Holding, and Trauma areas as needed

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including respiratory therapy, radiology, pharmacy, and social services

Maintain compliance with hospital policies and documentation requirements
