Day To Day Substitute Teacher

Opportunity :

Propel Schools is currently seeking day-to-day Substitute Teachers throughout our 13 buildings to join our amazing team. The Substitute Teacher will be responsible for covering day-to-day absences in the assigned building. This role is a great opportunity to become familiar with propel school's culture and many different class settings. This pathway will prepare you to eventually become a classroom teacher at Propel Schools. Key Job Elements :

• Instructs scholars and groups in specified content areas.
• Monitors students’ progress in and outside of the classroom.
• Maintains the physical environment of the classroom.
• Carries out lesson plans that were either left by the classroom teacher or rolls out pre-planned lessons appropriate for grade level and Subject area.
• Provides support to scholar overall learning when not assigned to a specific classroom, including but not limited to duties coverage, working with small groups of students, etc.
