Maintenance Technician - Keep Operations Running Smoothly in Lafayette!

Join a global leader in energy services as a Maintenance Technician in Lafayette, LA. Work under general supervision in a workshop environment, performing maintenance, diagnosis, and repairs on a variety of equipment. Prepare equipment safely to company standards for operational use, supporting a dynamic and safety-focused team.

Hours & Pay

  • Monday - Friday, 8 : 00 AM - 5 : 00 PM (some weekends required)
  • $15.00 / hour or DOE (depending on experience)

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventative and predictive maintenance, diagnosis, and repairs under supervision, ensuring work meets company quality and certification standards
  • Assist with rigging, building, and dismantling equipment as needed
  • Operate forklifts for equipment movement, loading, and unloading (with current driving qualification)
  • Conduct required equipment inspections and complete accurate documentation in line with company policies and procedures
  • Report incidents and non-conformances promptly according to procedures
  • Update and submit job packs to supervisors at the end of each work period
  • Coordinate with logistics, stores, and other departments to secure components and ensure timely task completion
  • Participate actively in morning safety meetings, toolbox talks, and planning sessions
  • Maintain a clean, organized workspace and properly care for tools
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors, team members, and operations personnel to ensure smooth workflow and safe completion of tasks

    • Qualifications & Experience

  • Technical qualification with 2+ years of related product line experience
  • Minimum 5 years of general work experience, preferably in a related product line
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and commitment to safety
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs or more
  • Reliable, detail-oriented, and a team player
