Accounting Manager

A company is looking for an Accounting Manager in the Not-for-Profit sector.

Key Responsibilities

Oversees day-to-day and month-end close entries, including revenue and payroll

Prepares and reviews complex reconciliations for balance sheet and general ledger accounts

Assists in the preparation of year-end financial statements and 1099 submissions

Required Qualifications

Minimum 7 years of experience in nonprofit accounting, with at least 3 years in a managerial role

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field; CPA preferred

Proficiency in automated accounting systems and spreadsheet applications

Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple client requirements

Advanced understanding of general and subsidiary ledgers and financial statements
