Description : Summary
The Project Manager will assist in planning, directing, and coordinating activities pertaining to the development and acquisition of solar projects in accordance with company policies and governmental regulations, including landowner communication. This position will assist in creating full project development schedules and high-level construction and interconnection schedules to clearly communicate with landowners. The Project Manager is also responsible for all purchase order creation. Works in a team environment and in conjunction with landowners, utility providers, subcontractors / technicians, other developers, and local municipalities to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.
Job Responsibilities
- Conduct preliminary audits of projects being handed to Project Development (all diligence items).
- Quality control of new projects and add new projects to the Monday.com trackers.
- Coordinate with landowners throughout the Project Development lifecycle to keep them informed and let them be involved in the development process.
- Maintain project tracking documents.
- Prepare project timetables.
- Ensure project deadlines are met.
- Document job progress and communication updates and maintain records and databases.
- Provide support to the Chief Development Officer and development team as needed.
- Participate in team calls with updates.
- Develop strong business relationships with landowners, contractors and development partners.
- Request Work Orders and Purchase Orders from subcontractors and internally.
- Prepare necessary materials for applications or project needs.
- Manage the process for requesting bonds with vendors and maintaining a tracking system.
- Create Purchase Orders for the entire Project Development (PD) department.
- Request Phase 1 Environmental Site Assessments (ESA) and Reliance Letters for projects nearing construction loan closings.
- Conduct FAA compliance checks for project sites.
- Maintain and update a central board to track validity dates for all PD-related documents, including permits, bonds, and reports.

Position Type / Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position and may require longer hours and weekend work.
