The Applications Analyst - Senior manages or performs work associated with analysis, design, implementation, operation, deployment, and support of the organization’s information technology resources.

The Epic Application Analyst - Senior helps enhance oncology, research, and transplant care through technology. Configure and maintain clinical tools, resolve Epic workflow issues, and design and configure new IT solutions. Collaborate with stakeholders to optimize documentation and ensure efficient, reliable support for providers and patients across the enterprise.

Role Overview

Maintain and develop new documentation tools such as flow sheet, smart sets, treatment plans, therapy plans, and notes.

Analyze complex business problems and design technology, integration, and workflow solutions.

Identify system gaps and provide technical expertise to inform functional specifications.

Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders.

Actively contribute to technical discussions, offering insights that improve solutions.Licensure, Certification, or Registration Requirements for Hire : N / ALicensure, Certification, or Registration Requirements for continued employment : Must be certified in Epic module(s) appropriate to area of responsibility as determined by leadership if applicable.Each project and exam as determined for the specific roles must be passed within three (3) attempts.Successful Epic certification(s) completion required within 60 days of final training.Maintain required Epic certification for appropriate role.Experience REQUIRED : Six to eight years of related experienceExperience PREFERRED : Previous Epic experience in the training, build, and / or support of the Epic systems electronic health record suite preferred.Healthcare experience desired.Education / training REQUIRED : Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of related education and experience.Education / training PREFERRED : Independent action(s) required : Operates with limited supervision from manager or specialist team members in determining objectives of assignments and solutions with work.Acts as primary IT Liaison with key departments and / or committeesSupervisory responsibilities (if applicable) : Additional position requirements : Age Specific groups served : Physical Requirements (includes use of assistance devices as appropriate) : Physical - Lifting less than 20 lbs.Activities : Prolonged sitting, Repetitive motionMental / Sensory : Strong recall, Reasoning, Problem solving, Hearing, Speak clearly, Write legibly, Reading, Logical thinkingEmotional : Fast pace environment, Able to handle multiple priorities, Frequent and intense customer interactions, Able to adapt to frequent changeEEO Employer / Disabled / Protected Veteran / 41 CFR 60-1.4.
