Director of Legal Consulting - Legal Operations & Technology (CLM / ELM)

About the Role:

As the Director, you will lead a portfolio of client engagements, drive strategic initiatives, and shape the future of our consulting practice. This role requires a seasoned leader with deep expertise in legal operations and enterprise legal technology, capable of guiding teams, influencing client strategy, and expanding business opportunities.

You will serve as a trusted advisor to clients, oversee multiple project teams, and collaborate with executive leadership to scale our consulting offerings. This role also includes responsibility for mentoring senior managers and consultants, ensuring delivery excellence, and contributing to the firm's growth through thought leadership and business development.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide strategic oversight and direction for complex legal consulting and technology projects
• Serve as executive sponsor and advisor for key client relationships
• Lead and mentor senior managers and project teams to ensure high-quality delivery
• Develop and refine consulting methodologies and best practices
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including RFPs, proposals, and strategic partnerships
• Represent Qualitas in industry forums, conferences, and client engagements
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align service offerings with market needs
• Drive innovation in legal operations, technology adoption, and client service models
• Contribute to the company's growth by identifying and pursuing new business development opportunities within the legal consulting and technical project space, according to set targets. Work collaboratively with key partners on proposals and solutions for mutual and prospective clients.

Required Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in legal consulting, legal operations, or enterprise legal technology
• Has developed consistent lines of revenue across different projects, partners and clients.
• Proven track record of leading large-scale legal transformation or technology implementation projects
• Deep expertise in CLM, matter management, e-billing, legal hold, and related systems
• Strong business development acumen and experience with client acquisition and retention
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Experience mentoring and developing high-performing consulting teams
• Strategic thinker with the ability to translate vision into execution
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
• Willingness to travel when needed (up to 33%)
