Assignment Information :

Client / LA County-Olive View UCLA Medical Center is currently in need of Registered Nurses (RN) with a minimum of two (2) years of PACU experience as a Post-Anesthesia Care Unit RN for providing total care to patients with various injuries, illnesses, disabilities, and post-surgical procedures. In post-op, RN will care for semiconscious patients of all ages and acuity such as observing patients for side effects of anesthesia throughout sedation recovery from the operating room and procedural areas.

RN will care for boarding of inpatients needing Intensive Care Unit, Progressive Care Unit / Step Down Unit, Telemetry and Medical / Surgical levels of care. RNs will float within the assigned Facility; and / or from a Client Facility to another Client Facility as needed; and / or be scheduled to a Workweek assignment between Facilities as needed. Client Facilities include but not limited to LA General Medical Center, Harbor UCLA Medical Center, Olive View UCLA Medical Center, and Rancho Los Amigos National Rehabilitation Center

Ensure that profiles are submitted only for RNs who are fully committed to working a per diem assignments.

Required certifications include active Registered Nurse license, AHA BLS, NIHSS Certification, MAB or CPI, LA City Fire and Life Safety card (must be LA City), and proof of full COVID and seasonal Flu Vaccinations.
