Department : Respiratory Therapy Unit : Respiratory Therapy - Meridian Hospital (Floor 1) Specialty : Travel Respiratory Therapist (RRT only - CRT not accepted) Certifications : BLS, ACLS, PALS; NRP required for NICU Experience : 2+ years; First-time travelers accepted Patient Types : NICU Level IIB, MICU, ICU, Peds, Adults, Geriatrics Areas Covered : ER & Inpatient - all floors Treatments per Day : 25-28 (8-hr shift) Skills / Duties ABGs (radial / brachial), all respiratory therapies, equipment management Must be comfortable floating across all units (ICU, MICU, MS / Tele, ER, etc.) NICU preferred; attend deliveries and initiate CPAP Assist with intubations (not independently) Staffing & Support 7-9 RTs days | 4-5 RTs nights Intensivists, Hospitalists & Anesthesia in-house; eICU overnight Manager : Julie, with Charge RT day & night Traveler will not be the only RT onsite Equipment Dräger V500, Hamilton, ReVel, V60, Vapotherm, EPOC Schedule Self-scheduling; flexibility required (no block schedule) Shifts : 0700-1930, 1100-2330, 1900-0730 Weekends : Every other Holidays : Rotation Call : Optional | 30 min response Floating : Within facility + Nampa / Boise (10-14 miles) Orientation 1-2 shifts with preceptor (NICU / General & ICU) Dress Code Any color scrubs - clean, professional Radius Rule 50 miles - permanent address required with submission
