Job Overview

The Behavioral Health Clinician is responsible for direct patient care and safety including diagnostic, assessment, treatment, and discharge planning for children, adolescents, and their families in Outpatient, Inpatient or Emergency Department settings.

The Creative Arts Therapist Behavioral Health Clinician (CAT BHC) features a master's in art therapy, drama therapy or expressive arts therapy focused on the mental health population.

• This position is responsible for delivering direct patient care and ensuring patient safety through assessment, diagnosis, and the implementation of creative arts therapy interventions. As a member of the interdisciplinary treatment team, the CAT BHC provides services within the Pediatric Mental Health Institute, specifically through the Ponzio Creative Arts Therapy Program and the Integrative & Creative Care Division. This role includes working in both inpatient and outpatient settings and offering individual, group, and multi-family creative arts therapy sessions. This position is responsible for delivering direct patient care and ensuring patient safety through assessment, diagnosis, and the implementation of creative arts therapy interventions. Minimum Qualifications

Master's Degree

Psychology, social work or related field.

2 years in a mental health setting / agency

American Heart Association Basic Life Support for Healthcare Provider or American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer or ASHI Basic Life Support for Health Providers

Salary Information

Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience.

Annual Salary Range (Based on 40 hours worked per week) : $68,066.41 to $102,099.61
