Security Officer - Retail Mall Patrol Driver

As a security officer in Miami, Florida, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail / Malls, and more. As a patrol officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a dynamic retail and mall environment, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service. Your presence will contribute to a welcoming atmosphere, as you interact with visitors and staff. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for vehicle patrols as part of your daily duties. Pay Rate : $18.00 / Hour

Job Schedule :

  • Wed 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM
  • Thur 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM
  • Fri 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM
  • Sat 06 : 00 AM - 02 : 00 PM
  • Sun 06 : 00 AM - 02 : 00 PM

    • What You'll Do :

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors at the retail or mall location by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding appropriately during emergencies.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the business and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential concerns.
  • Observe and report any suspicious activity, hazards, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols.
  • Communicate clearly with Allied Universal management, site personnel, and emergency responders as needed.
  • Maintain a visible presence to help to deter unwanted activity and provide assistance to patrons as needed.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • State, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
