Mixlab, the fast-growing veterinary compounding pharmacy, is hiring a Pharmacist-In-Charge to help us scale our Milwaukee pharmacy. We are looking for a PIC who is obsessed with details and is driven by an ability to #makeithappen for our customers and their furry (and scaly!) friends no matter what. You will be an integral part in helping us to ensure our pharmacy operations run smoothly, and to make Mixlab a 100% dependable resource for our customers and veterinarians alike.

The ideal candidate is looking for a role that combines running an operation, managing people, and working in a fast paced environment. You equally love diving into projects, developing talent, and using data to drive decisions. Most importantly, you have a passion for helping pet’s lead healthier lives.

Compensation for this role is $155,000-$165,000 depending on individual qualifications, experience, and skillset.

About the Role :

• Work alongside the executive team and other PICs to hone efficiencies and elevate production
• Oversee a pharmacy staff of pharmacists, compounding and processing technicians
• Own the P&L for the lab; ensure we meet monthly output and financial goals
• Build staffing plan with Finance and Operations leadership for projected growth
• Drive process improvements in partnership with digital, supply chain, logistics and care to improve both efficiency and quality
• Work with our compliance team to obtain additional state licenses and keep up-to-date with regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with the development team to provide guidance on product features
• Partner with Sales on training, field documentation, and other educational initiatives, and occasionally participating in sales activities such as calling or visiting veterinary clinics
• Assist with delivering the extra mile of customer service to our pet parents.
• Process and review medication orders as needed; spend 50% of the role within the operation.
• Consistently deliver a delightful experience for our clients, with an emphasis on continuous improvement

Pay ranges at Mixlab are based on competitive market data for our industry and company size. In addition to base pay, our total compensation package for full-time employees includes benefits and equity. We determine individual pay based on qualifications for the role, experience level, and skillset, and we expect offers made to candidates to fall throughout the range advertised.
