Chapman Collision Center is looking for an experienced Auto Body Painter to join our dynamic team helping to restore customer vehicles to like-new condition. We are proud to be a Gold Class collision repair facility devoted to excellence through ongoing training on the newest technologies and repair techniques. Successful candidates demonstrate impeccable workmanship with a keen eye for detail. The Painter will collaborate with Body Technicians Paint Prep associates and Estimators and reports to the General Manager.

    • Core Responsibilities :

  • Ensure vehicle is ready for paint; fill depressions straighten dents and clean components for primer and paint application
  • Carefully mask and protect parts that are not to be painted
  • Mix paint components properly and apply to parts in the paint booth
  • Inspect finished product to ensure it meets quality standards
  • Clean and maintain spray equipment and other work areas
  • Wear proper personal protective equipment (PPE) as required by company policies

    • Desired Qualifications and Experience :

  • Previous collision painting experience required
  • Previous experience spraying Water based Glasurit
  • Consistently demonstrates meticulous attention to detail and precise workmanship
  • Strong time management skills to meet production goals
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team as well as independently
  • A valid drivers license and clean driving record are required
  • Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening

    • Hours and Work Environment

    The Collision Center is open Monday Friday 7 : 30am to 5 : 30pm. We ask that all applicants have open availability during our business hours. Our technicians enjoy an indoor air-conditioned shop.
