Registered Nurse - Weekend Overnights

Location : 3205 N Twyman Rd, Independence, MO 64058 Hourly Pay Rate : $45.00 with weekend commitment

Schedule : Friday - Sunday, 7 : 00pm-7 : 00am

Are you a compassionate and skilled nurse ready to make a real impact in adolescent mental health? Every day, as a RN at Embark Behavioral Health, you'll be a trusted source of care and support for teens (ages 12-17) -assessing their needs, administering medications, and ensuring they feel safe and heard. You'll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, communicate with families, and advocate for students in their healing journey. Responsibilities

• Be a trusted caregiver by assessing and responding when a student isn't feeling well.
• Support student well-being by monitoring vitals, administering medications, and tracking health progress.
• Collaborate with families and the care team by sharing important medical updates and advocating for student needs.
• Ensure safety and accuracy by tracking and documenting medications, including narcotics, every shift.
• Provide additional floor coverage on weekends to support staff and students and receive training in safe verbal de-escalation and physical intervention techniques to support upset teens as they arise.
• Play a key role in the healing journey by observing and documenting mood, behavior, and overall health.
