ABOUT THE ROLE

You will be responsible for performing quality control tests on materials (sand / rock) for specific product lines using ASTM and AASHTO standards.

WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH

• Carries out ongoing lab and field sampling. Testing to ensure that material produced and shipped meet State, project and customer specifications.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

\n

Education : High School diploma / GED; two years of post-secondary technical education or course work in Sciences that deals with laboratory functions is preferred. This is a great entry level position for a Geology, Chemistry or Earth Sciences graduate.

Experience : At least two years of experience as materials Q.C. Laboratory Technician, preferred.
