Full Stack Java Developer (Austin)

We are currently seeking an experienced Full Stack Java Developer to play a key role within a high-impact technical services team.

Responsibilities

Develops software solutions by studying information needs, conferring with users, and studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes. Investigates problem areas. Prepares and installs solutions by determining and designing system specifications, standards, and programming.

As part of HHSC IT Applications Social Services Applications initiatives, the worker will perform the following activities to accomplish the following goals :

Strong oral and written communication skills.

Strong understanding and experience of fundamental programming concepts of data structures, algorithms, performance, caching and scalability issues in the context of Web based UI applications.

Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with major course work in computer science, computer information systems, engineering, or management information systems is required.
