C Operator

Job Summary

The C Operator position is the entry-level role in the operator classification. Individuals in this position are expected to actively learn and develop a thorough understanding of all procedures within their assigned area. Strong teamwork and collaboration skills are essential for success in this role.

Duties and Responsibilities :

• Responsible for providing and receiving accurate pass down at shift change.
• Conduct initial rounds at the start of each shift to assess the physical condition and operational status of the assigned unit area.
• Works safely in accordance with all safety rules operating manuals work permits and special instructions; ensures that all reporting operators do the same.
• Operates equipment according to general instructions from the operating procedures and specific instructions from their supervisor. Trouble shoots processes / equipment as required.
• If directed will take responsibility for the chemical processing and all equipment in their area upon direction by Supervisor.
• Safely handle both packaged and bulk chemicals following approved handling and transfer procedures.
• Assist in area maintenance activities including proper permitting and coordination.
• Maintain accurate inventory records during the shift through movement slips and ERP system entries.
• Maintains housekeeping standards to ensure a clean and safe work environment.
