Schedule requirements include day shifts. The candidate will work 10-hour shifts between the hours of 6 AM and 7 PM, including weekends as needed. Candidates must be willing to stay until the last patient is cared for. Call may be required. Candidates will undergo a clinical review to determine clinical fit. If clinically approved and within guidelines, candidates will be forwarded for a final decision. The manager will conduct interviews. The unit comprises dedicated Cardiac Catheterization Labs and Electrophysiology labs. The unit has multiple prep / recovery bays. Invasive Cardiology completes over 6,000 procedures per year. It offers advanced cardiovascular treatments, including complex coronary procedures, and various structural heart procedures. Additional skills required include activated clotting time monitoring, antiarrhythmics, blood product administration, and procedural sedation. Please note, candidates may care for COVID patients. This facility is tobacco and fragrance-free. Preferences include Epic charting experience, and ACLS and BLS certifications. Candidates should be flexible with their schedule and must be able to float as needed. An emphasis on infection prevention is important in this role. Candidates should have experience in monitoring procedural sedation and starting and maintaining IVs. Required skills also include pacemaker insertion and sheath removal and monitoring.
