Security Officer - Education Patrol Part-Time

Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity. As a Part-Time Security Officer, you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at an educational location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help maintain a secure environment. You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service. Pay Rate : $13.00 / Hour

Job Schedule :

  • Thur 11 : 00 PM - 07 : 00 AM
  • Sat 11 : 00 PM - 07 : 00 AM
  • Sun 11 : 00 PM - 07 : 00 AM

    • What You'll Do :

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the educational location and its perimeter to help deter unwanted activity and promote a secure environment.
  • Observe and report any security-related concerns, hazards, or suspicious activities encountered during patrols.
  • Assist students, staff, and visitors with directions and information as needed, fostering a welcoming atmosphere.
  • Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency responders when required, following established protocols.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of incidents, patrols, and daily activities as required by Allied Universal and site management.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
