Java Tech Lead

NTT DATA's Client is seeking a Java Tech Lead to lead a team of developers in designing, coding, testing, and deploying Java applications that interact with mainframe systems.

Responsibilities

Design and implement robust and scalable solutions for integrating Java applications

Write high-quality Java code, ensuring adherence to coding standards, best practices, and security protocols.

Develop and maintain interfaces and connectors between Java applications and mainframe systems, utilizing technologies like MQ, Connect Direct, or custom APIs.

Provide expert-level support for complex technical issues related to Java-mainframe interactions, including performance tuning and defect resolution.

Work closely with business analysts, project managers, and other technical teams to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions.

Mentor junior developers, provide technical guidance, and conduct code reviews to ensure quality and knowledge transfer.

Skills required :

Overall 5+ years of experience.

3+ Years of strong experience in Java / J2EE, Spring, Oracle DB, Hibernate with expertise in design, development, performance tuning, microservice, troubleshooting and deployment

2+ Years of good understanding of ECS, Kubernetes, and Openshift.

Should be well versed with designing and architecting solutions with latest tech advancements.

Experience in building UI components for agent applications. Added advantage to have experience in Figma.

Expertise in Elastic Search, NoSQL databases, and Caching solutions

Expertise in designing and optimizing the software solutions for performance and stability.

Expertise in Authentication, Authorization, and Security.

Passion for technology and self- starter

Strong experience in UI technologies like Java Script, Angular, with expertise in design, development, performance tuning, troubleshooting and deployment.

SME for UI architecture patterns - Micro Frontend, NX.

Subject matter expert on JavaScript till ES2015 and better to have understanding on ECMA future proposals

Experience in Mainframe & Exstream / MessagePoint tool are a PLUS (not required)
