The Sugar Foods Corporation is a privately owned company with production facilities in Georgia, California, and Mexico. Our products are sold and distributed throughout the U.S. and Canada. Sugar Foods manufactures and packages croutons, tortilla chips, crispy toppings, as well as cheese-based toppings. Additionally, Sugar Foods packages a variety of items including sugar, sweeteners, powdered creamer, and dried fruits and nuts. We are looking to add an experienced Parts Room Clerk at our Villa Rica plant. The Villa Rica facility manufactures a wide variety of food products including but not limited to salad and breakfast toppings (croutons, fruits, nuts, and granola), eco-stick products (sugar, sugar substitutes, salt, and pepper), convenience pouch goods (parmesan cheese and various dip mixes), and canned products (sugar and coffee creamers). Position Summary for the Parts Room Clerk

Sugar Foods operates food manufacturing, packaging, and distribution facilities to serve over 5,000 customers. The stability of our processes, and the consistency and quality of our products depends upon the proper functioning of our machines and equipment. Accurate inventory of parts, effective planning for purchasing and storage, and timely response for parts requests from personal is essential to our mission.

Job Responsibilities

• Analyze and reconcile physical and perpetual parts inventory levels.
• Accurate date recording.
• Request parts and supplies from internal and external sources.
• Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
• Maintain appropriate inventory levels and remove out of code products.
• Maintain accurate files and logbooks.
• Respond quickly and accurately to part requests from shop personnel.
• Issue parts from inventory to work orders.
• Issue purchase orders to vendors.
• Process warranty cores for return.
• 40 lbs
• Cycle counts of parts inventory.
• Review purchase orders and posting invoices.
• Restock Inventory

Basic Skills :

Read and write in English

Effective communication skills

Able to safelt lift items up to 40 lbs

Computer skills with data entry

Skills & Qualifications :

Proficient with data entry

Previous knowledge and or experience

Education and Other Requirements :

18 years or older

Authorized to work in the USA

High School graduate / GED

2 - 5 years experience working in parts room in a manufacturing environment
