Position – 2nd Shift Quality Technician

Job Location –Sussex, WI

Starting Date – Immediate

Employment Term – Temp-to-Hire

Employment Type – Full-Time

Work Hours (Shift) – 2nd Shift (Monday–Friday, 2 : 30pm–12 : 00am)

Starting Pay – Depends on Experience

Required Education – High School Diploma / GED preferred

Required Experience – At least 1 year in manufacturing, preferably in a quality role

Job Summary

As a 2nd Shift Quality Technician, you will be responsible for inspecting materials, in-process components, and finished products to ensure they comply with company and customer specifications. You will use precision measuring tools, document quality results, support audits, and assist with continuous improvement efforts across the facility.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all products meet company and customer quality standards.
• Perform detailed inspections of materials, work-in-process, and finished goods.
• Identify, document, and report quality issues.
• Collaborate with the Director of Quality on process and product improvements.
• Use measuring equipment such as calipers and micrometers to verify dimensions.
• Participate in audits and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain accurate quality records and documentation.
• Follow all safety guidelines, work instructions, and quality procedures.

Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of manufacturing experience; quality experience strongly preferred.

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

Proficiency in basic math, including measurement conversions and data interpretation.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to use quality tools and read technical drawings.

Ability to work independently and within a team.

Must meet physical demands of the role.
