Located in our 220000 square foot facility this role assembles a variety of exciting products including Flight and Aircrew training devices 360-degree Visual Systems and Aircraft Maintenance Platforms to train the Military.

We are seeking a Mechanical Assembler III to plan and perform a variety of mechanical or electro-mechanical assembly tests acrylic cutting sanding and inspection operations on various products in standard and non-standard environments to maintain flow of work.

This is a first shift position Monday-Friday 6 : 00 AM - 3 : 00 PM.

What You Will Do

R eads interprets and follows blueprints diagrams engineering drawings specifications bills of materials and other written instructions.

Operates hand tools electrical tools molding sanding / cutting of acrylic measuring equipment and light equipment.

Maintains inventory of product in workstations.

Performs quality work checks identifies product defects and records identified defects.

Reworks and / or repairs assembled equipment and products according to engineering specification changes.

Performs all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures.

Operates Fork Trucks and Overhead Cranes to load / unload material and finished product

Maintains a clean and safe work area.

Qualifications You Must Have

Typically requires HS diploma (or equivalent e.g. G.E.D in the US) or vocational / technical education in related discipline with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
