🔍 Job Summary

Aaratech Inc. is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Data Analyst to lead analytics initiatives across strategic client projects. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in data modeling, dashboard development, statistical analysis, and business intelligence to deliver insights that drive impactful decision-making.

You will collaborate directly with business leaders, product teams, and engineering teamstranslating complex data into clear, actionable strategies. If you excel at solving business problems using data, mentoring junior analysts, and owning analytics end-to-end, this role is an excellent fit.

📌 Key Responsibilities

🔹 Advanced Data Analysis & Insights

  • Analyze complex, large-scale datasets to identify patterns, performance gaps, and strategic opportunities.
  • Conduct statistical and predictive analysis to support forecasting, risk assessment, and business planning.
  • Convert business questions into analytical frameworks and deliver clear insights.

🔹 Data Modeling & Optimization

  • Design and implement scalable data models, KPIs, and metric frameworks.
  • Improve existing reporting systems by optimizing SQL queries, datasets, and ETL processes.
  • Work closely with data engineers to improve data pipelines and data flow efficiency.

    • 🔹 Reporting & Business Intelligence

  • Build sophisticated dashboards and analytics solutions using Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or similar BI tools .
  • Ensure dashboards include drill-down capabilities, automated refresh, and user-friendly interaction.
  • Deliver executive-level presentations and interpret insights for non-technical stakeholders.

    • 🔹 Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with business units to understand operational, financial, and strategic goals.
  • Work with engineering and product teams to define data requirements and improve data availability.
  • Act as a bridge between technical and functional teams to ensure alignment on KPIs and analytics goals.

    • 🔹 Leadership & Mentorship

  • Guide and mentor junior analysts on data best practices, SQL, BI tools, and storytelling.
  • Review work deliverables and ensure quality, accuracy, and alignment with project goals.
  • Lead analytics discussions, data roadmap planning, and prioritization of analytical tasks.

    • 🔹 Data Governance & Quality Management

  • Ensure data consistency, security, and compliance with governance standards.
  • Conduct audits on data quality and implement improvements to enhance reliability.
  • Maintain documentation for datasets, data lineage, KPIs, and business definitions.

    • Qualifications

    🎓 Education

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Analytics, Information Systems, or a related discipline.

    • 🧠 Technical Expertise

  • Advanced proficiency in SQL and experience with optimizing complex queries.
  • Strong knowledge of data modeling, relational databases, and ETL workflows .
  • Expertise in visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker .
  • Hands-on experience with Python or R (Pandas, NumPy, SciPy preferred).
  • Solid understanding of cloud data platforms (AWS, Snowflake, BigQuery, or Azure).

  • 4+ years of experience in Data Analytics or a similar role.
  • Strong analytical, statistical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional communication and storytelling abilitiesable to convert insights into business strategies.
  • Proven success supporting leadership teams and driving key business decisions.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with minimal supervision.
