Job Title : Locums Pediatrician

Location : Hyattsville, MD

Description : We are seeking a Pediatrician for a locum tenens position in a well-established outpatient pediatric practice. Full-time and part-time positions are available, with start dates in July / August.

Requirements :

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible Pediatrician
  • Current Maryland License
  • Clean Databank
  • No significant malpractice history

Practice Details :

  • Flexible full-time or part-time schedules
  • Supported by a seasoned staff of 8, with most having over 10 years of experience
  • Staff handles various tasks including strep testing

    • Location :

  • The practice is situated in a Maryland suburb of Washington, DC

    • Office Hours :

  • Monday to Thursday : 7 : 30 AM - 5 : 00 PM (closed 1 hour for lunch)
  • Friday : 7 : 30 AM - 12 : 00 PM

    • Other Details :

  • Outpatient only
  • Paper charts available, with EMR implemented
  • Prescription stamps and E-prescribing utilized
  • Patient Census : 25-30 patients per day per provider
  • Walk-ins : 7 : 30 AM - 8 : 30 AM
  • Scheduled Appointments : 8 : 30 AM - 5 : 00 PM
