  • W / 1 FT provider, a PA-C & occasional shifts by employed GI.
  • Duties :
  • See more complicated liver & GI cases in addition to new referrals.
  • All standard clinic responsibilities including pathology review, referrals & answering questions the PA might have.
  • Required Procedures :
  • Pill Cam (required to interpret studies), peg tube exchange, Hemoccult test & Lidocaine injections.
  • Upper GI endoscopy : with biopsy, with foreign body removal, with fulguration of bleeder (cautery vs. laser), With injection of varices
  • Sigmoidoscopy : Flexible & Rigid
  • Colonoscopy : w / biopsy & w / excision of polyp
  • Trauma Level : III
  • EMR : Epic
  • Other Info :
  • If locum would prefer a hybrid schedule to include clinic shifts & procedure shifts (colonoscopy / endoscopy performed under conscious sedation at hospital), this is a possibility.
  • Not required to supervise APPs.
  • Hospital Privileges Required : Yes
  • Temporary Privileges available : Yes
  • Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance covered

  • Active WA License or IMLC
  • BC
  • BLS, ACLS
