Senior Director of Facilities | Multi-Unit Restaurant Group | NYC MetroAbout the Opportunity
A well-established, growing restaurant group in the NYC metro area is seeking an experienced Senior Director of Facilities to lead all facilities management, development projects, and operational support across their multi-unit footprint, including restaurants, commissary, and support centers.
This is a strategic leadership role for a facilities professional with deep restaurant / hospitality experience who can combine vision with hands-on execution.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
- Develop and execute facilities strategy aligned with company growth objectives
- Oversee full project lifecycle : site selection, design, construction, opening, and evaluation
- Lead capital improvements and preventive maintenance programs to optimize performance and asset value
Operational Management
Direct regional facilities team (Managers, Coordinators, Technicians)Serve as expert on FF&E, building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing), and equipmentManage budgets for facilities, R&M, and capital projects across the portfolioMaintain vendor relationships and negotiate cost-effective contractsEnsure compliance with all health, safety, licensing, and regulatory requirementsSystems & Administration
Administer CMMS platform for maintenance tracking, work orders, and vendor complianceManage warranties, lease obligations, and preventive maintenance schedulesProvide regular reporting on capital spend, R&M performance, and complianceTrain and develop facilities staff on systems and SOPsRequired Qualifications
7+ years progressive facilities / development experience in restaurant or hospitalityProven success managing 50+ units with operational and capital responsibilitiesStrong knowledge of restaurant building systems and equipmentExpertise in preventive maintenance, capital projects, and repair / replace analyticsExperience with CMMS platforms (Service Channel preferred)Excellent leadership, budget management, and vendor negotiation skillsLocal to NYC metro area; travel required to all facilitiesCompensation & Benefits
Base Salary : $170,000 - $200,000 + Bonus
