About the Opportunity

This is an open position with FirstEnergy Service Company, a subsidiary of FirstEnergy Corp.

This is a full-time, on-site position located in Akron, OH.

Position Summary

Reporting to the Vice President, Transmission Strategy & Engagement, the Program Manager Transmission is responsible for supporting the implementation of strategic initiatives and business performance objectives for stand-alone Transmission. This position will partner with stand-alone Transmission's senior leadership team to synchronize strategy and financial planning reporting processes, drive cross-functional initiatives and governance, deliver impactful executive analysis and data insights, and streamline communications, reporting, and project execution to advance transmission segment goals in a continuous improvement culture.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic counsel and operational support to the stand-alone Transmission leadership team.
• Monitor, track, and sequence processes, procedures, and communications of within team.
• Facilitate governance processes and frameworks utilized in process and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Lead cross-functional projects to completion with clear accountability.
• Utilize and gather data from multiple sources to produce executive-level reports, dashboards, and presentations.
• Track progress, identify risks, and coordinate mitigation efforts.
