Concrete Finisher Technician

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Concrete Finisher Technician to join our commercial concrete contracting team. This full-time position offers internal opportunities for year-round employment, including work in our snow removal division.

Responsibilities:

• Forming sidewalks, entries, steps, and more.
• Pouring concrete efficiently and accurately.
• Finishing concrete to meet project specifications.
• Performing all aspects of labor associated with concrete work.
• Undertaking other duties as assigned.

Essential Skills:

• 3 to 5 years of experience in commercial and/or residential concrete finishing.
• Proven experience in the set-up and finishing of all aspects of concrete work.
• Comprehensive knowledge of all concrete finishing tools.
• Capability to handle physical labor involved in construction, including kneeling, bending, lifting, pouring, and using wheelbarrows and shovels.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• CDL A and heavy equipment experience preferred.

Work Environment:

This role involves working outdoors throughout both winter and summer seasons. The team convenes at the shop at 5:30 AM and heads to the site by 6:30 AM, with work typically concluding between 3:30 PM and 4:30 PM. During winter, responsibilities include snow removal.

Job Type & Location:

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Minneapolis, MN.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $38.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
