We are looking for an experienced Director of Finance to lead and oversee the financial operations of a non-profit organization in Green Bay, Wisconsin. In this role, you will manage budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes while ensuring compliance with applicable regulations. You will also provide strategic financial guidance to department heads and committees, driving efficiency and supporting the organization's mission.
Responsibilities:
• Supervise and manage the development and execution of annual budgets across the department.
• Oversee daily financial operations, including billing, payroll, purchasing, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
• Ensure compliance with state, federal, and local financial regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Provide financial analysis and insights to support decision-making for leadership and committees.
• Handle financial reporting, audits, and grant budgets with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to optimize financial processes and strengthen internal controls.
• Lead the rate-setting activities and reimbursement procedures, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
• Drive process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of financial operations.
• Develop and mentor finance staff, fostering growth and building a strong team.
• Monitor cash flow forecasts and oversee month-end close processes to maintain financial stability.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial management, preferably within the non-profit or healthcare sector.
• Proven expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Strong knowledge of compliance requirements related to state, federal, and local financial regulations.
• Experience with healthcare billing, Medicaid reimbursement, and rate-setting processes.
• Proficient in managing month-end close processes and cash flow forecasting.
• Demonstrated ability to oversee audits and grant budgets.
